The Yakima Valley is a Great Place To Live

In addition to just being a great place to grow your career this is a great place to live.  The Wapato School District is located in the heart of the Yakima Valley, located in Yakima County.  We're about 2.5 hours by freeway from the Seattle area and are within easy driving distance to Yakima and the Tri-Cities.

Those who call this region home enjoy the relaxing pace of country living, bask in an average of 300 days of sunshine per year and able to immerse themselves in a variety of cultures.

The Yakima Valley is known worldwide for its agriculture which affords residents a farm fresh experience from its many roadside fruit stands, to its growing number of craft breweries and dozens of award winning wineries.  If you enjoy the outdoors you are only minutes away from miles of hiking trails in the Cascade Mountains offering breathtaking views of Mt. Rainier and Mt. Adams.
