Three Student Athletes Competing At State Track & Field Meet

Three student athletes have qualified to represent Wapato High School at the 2018 State Track Meet in Tacoma.  They include Freshman Alicia Guerrero who will be competing in the ambulatory discus and shot put.  Alicia is both the District and Regional champion in discus and shot put.  She also set the best marks in the State in the ambulatory division for both the discus and shot put.  Junior Manuel Delgadillo is competing in the triple jump.  This is his third year in track at Wapato High School but the first time he has qualified for the State Meet.  He is the 2A District triple jump champion and he placed 2nd at the Regional Meet.  Junior Janealle Sutterlict will represent Wapato High School in the 400 meter dash.  She placed 3rd at both the District and Regional Meets.  Janealle is no stranger to competing for a State title, in fact this school year she made it to State in each of the three sports seasons.  (Fall-Cross Country, Winter-Basketball, Spring-Track).  We wish them all the best of luck at State.  Please follow us on Twitter @WapatoSD for updates on all three of these student athletes.
