REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

PROGRESSIVE-DESIGN-BUILD SERVICES

       PACE HS/Camas/Satus Elementary Replacement

      Submittal Deadline: June 28, 2024, at 3:00 PM

Wapato School District requests statement of qualifications (SOQ) from Progressive Design-Builders for the replacement of PACE High School, Camas and Satus Elementary Schools Construction Project using the procurement permitted under Chapter 39.10 of the RCW, as amended, for selected school projects for public works contracting in lieu of sealed bids.

The project consists of building a new school facility that will house all PACE High School students, and a new school facility to house all students in both the Camas and Satus Elementary Schools. The project construction budget is approximately $56 million inclusive of hard and soft costs.

Design is anticipated to begin in September 2024. Early Construction Packages are anticipated to begin in May/June 2025 with total project substantial completion estimated to be by Fall of 2028.

The Design-Builder shall provide high quality services including scheduling, phasing logistics, collaboration with the design consultants, manage and estimate design budgets and design contingency solutions, assist in risk identification and management thereof, coordinate environmental and hazmat investigation services and plans, direct construction best-practices, organize design investigative work and provide assistance in the selection of materials and building systems, solicit and manage subcontractor bid packages and supplier bidding while providing high-quality construction services to safely deliver a superior project that comprises the full scope of program needs set by WSD that is on time, meets or exceeds quality and under budget.

The Request for Qualifications outlines the information necessary to understand this selection process and the documentation required for submitting proposals.

Copy [email protected] on all qualification submissions. The Project name and submittal date must appear in the subject line of the email. Any firm failing to submit its qualifications in accordance with the procedures set forth in the Request for Qualifications may be considered non-responsive.

The particulars of the project, the selection process, schedule, and the elements of the contract will be discussed at that time.
