Wapato Schools Levy Passing with 58% YES Vote

Thanks to voters in the Wapato School District the Educational Programs and Operations Replacement Levy is passing with a 58% YES vote.  Approval of the levy helps insure the continuation of vital programs and services used to prepare Wapato students for success in the global economy.
The District wants to thank the members of the Wapato Citizens for Better Schools Committee for their tireless work in helping support the levy and getting out the YES vote.  Committee members Geomara Viernes, Meghann Gomez, Ricardo Valdez and Mark Reynolds were instrumental in getting the levy approved.
